Свидетель по делу Магнитского заявила о заказном характере дела и поступивших угрозах

Свидетелю по делу о смерти в следственном изоляторе юриста Сергея Магнитского поступали угрозы, об этом стало известно в ходе судебного заседания, прошедшего в прошлый четверг в Тверском районном суде г. Москвы по делу бывшего заместителя начальника СИЗО «Бутырка» Дмитрия Кратова.

Опрошенная в качестве свидетеля в ходе судебного заседания бывшая заместитель руководителя УФСИН Москвы по медицинской работе Ольга Григорьева сообщила, что перед ее приходом в суд ее «предупреждали и угрозы поступали по телефону». Read more

Witness in Trial of Magnitsky’s Jail Doctor Receives Death Threats Before Court Testimony

Olga Grig­orie­va, for­mer­ly the sec­ond most senior offi­cial in the depart­ment of the Moscow Prison Ser­vice in charge of med­ical care, received death threats against her moth­er and son sev­er­al weeks before her tes­ti­mo­ny in Moscow court on the cir­cum­stances of Sergei Mag­nit­sky’s death. 

In the state­ment she made to the Tver­skoi Dis­trict Court in Moscow last Thurs­day, Ms. Grig­orie­va tes­ti­fied that a for­mer senior med­ical offi­cial at Butyr­ka prison called her on the phone two days after she received a court sum­mons, to say that she should fear for her son and moth­er and that Dmirtry Kra­tov, the only defen­dant in the case, might be killed. Posthumous Prosecution of Sergei Magnitsky is Moving Forward In Spite of Massive Falsifications; Lawyers are Forbidden to See the Case File

On the eve of the third anniver­sary of the death of Sergei Mag­nit­sky in Russ­ian police cus­tody, the Russ­ian Inte­ri­or Min­istry has announced that it has com­plet­ed its inves­ti­ga­tion and pre­pared the case file for an immi­nent tri­al. The pro­ceed­ings in rela­tion to Mag­nit­sky, who has been dead for three years, will be the first case of a posthu­mous pros­e­cu­tion in Russ­ian legal history.

Lawyers for Her­mitage have uncov­ered evi­dence of mas­sive fal­si­fi­ca­tions of doc­u­ments in the case file. They have filed 40 com­plaints in the last six months detail­ing the fal­si­fi­ca­tion and oth­er legal vio­la­tions, includ­ing con­ceal­ment of evi­dence and con­flict of inter­est, but all com­plaints have been reject­ed by the Ostank­in­sky Dis­trict Court and the Fed­er­al Inte­ri­or Min­istry on unrea­soned grounds. Fol­low­ing these com­plaints, the Inte­ri­or Min­istry inves­ti­ga­tor Shupolovsky, who has been put in charge of the case, has now denied Her­mitage’s lawyer any access to fur­ther mate­ri­als in the case file. МВД готовится к посмертному суду над Магнитским, адвокаты заявляют о фальсификации материалов дела

МВД России объявило о завершении посмертного уголовного дела в отношении юриста фонда Her­mitage Сергея Магнитского и в ближайшее время намерено направить его прокурору для подписания обвинительного заключения. Это решение последовало  незамедлительно  после заявлений  адвокатов Her­mitage, ведущих ознакомление с делом, об  обнаруженных ими  фальсификациях следствием материалов уголовного дела, которое на всем протяжении велось с грубейшими нарушениями уголовно-процессуального закона, с целью сокрытия истинных причин незаконного преследования Сергея Магнитского. Следствие также запретило адвокатам дальнейшее ознакомление с материалами дела, пытаясь скрыть иные нарушения. Действия следователя МВД Шуполовского, сменившего на этом посту следователя Кибиса, были обжалованы в Генеральную прокуратуру (Чайке), Следственный департамент МВД (Алексееву) и следственную часть МВД по Центральному федеральному округу (Агафьевой).
